Not only does hummel love The Black Eyed Peas, one of the biggest bands in the world, but we also love RETH¿NK! Therefore we did not hesitate for a second when presented with the opportunity to support BlackBerry® presents The Black Eyed Peas The E.N.D World Tour 2010 Recycling Program.
The BlackBerry presents The Black Eyed Peas The E.N.D World Tour 2010 features a unique recycling initiative that focuses on producing sustainable fabric from recycled plastic bottles. RETH¿NK and hummel volunteers will be out there on the road (decked out in hummel gear) encouraging fans at each show to recycle their plastic bottles in support of RETH¿NK recycled fabrics and the new hummel recycled line which is launching in Sweden next year. In addition to all of this, hummel, RETH¿NK and The Black Eyed Peas have made a recycled t-shirt available to fans at the merch booth, giving the fans a preview of the possibilities of reusing recycled plastic bottles. You too can take action at the show by recycling and learning more from the hummel / RETH¿NK volunteers!
“This is a match made in heaven for hummel and we are very proud to be supporting the program and a band that takes such a great interest in improving the state of the planet. Supporting the BlackBerry presents The Black Eyed Peas The E.N.D World Tour 2010 Recycling Program fits very well with one of our company’s primary values, Company Karma, which is all about giving something back to others (people and organizations) that we believe have the right and the most commendable cause. Therefore we jumped at the chance immediately when we were presented with the opportunity to support this great program and band” – Henning Nielsen (hummel corporate marketing manager).
hummel will support the E.N.D. European Tour by equipping the numerous volunteers at the 19 concerts across Europe with apparel and accessories. Check out www.facebook.com/hummel.International or www.facebook.com/blackyedepeas
